Events, Groups, and Volume Photography
Some photography jobs are done with a number of individuals. These pictures will have the same background and lighting, and consequently they are inexpensive compared to a custom session. Often these jobs are done “on location.”
Preschools and Home School Portraits
We set up at preschools to do portraits of the 3 and 4-year olds, and at a location for home-schooled children. We have some dates set at the studio for home-schooled students. Public school children are welcome to come to the studio as well, because many school pictures are often poorly done.
Jr./Sr. Proms
A prom can be one of the highlights of a student’s high school experience. We help the junior class design a background and often put the background together for them. We usually buy potted ferns and flowers and match the color scheme. We deliver the photos to the school and personally deliver the prom pictures to the students during their lunch hour. This allows me to deal with any questions on the spot, and does not put the school staff in an awkward position. We require the students to sign out when they pick up their pictures, in case their date wonders where their pictures are.
Dance Schools
We set up right at the dress rehearsal the night before the dance recital and take the photographs. The individuals are photographed on a white background, and the groups are photographed on a 20-foot, cloth background. There are special packages for the students to order from. The school gets a 5×7 photo of each student dancer and a copy of each group. These can be displayed on the walls of the school. The schools close to our studio can have the students pick up their photos at the school in order to save work for the school.

Sports Teams
We have all the standard sports photography items that you can regularly get, such as Memory Mates, Photo Buttons, Trading Cards, etc. The coach receives a complimentary 5×7 Team Photo. For a league, it is possible to get a plaque for Team Sponsors.
Class Reunions
A Class Reunion is actually pretty easy to do. We show up 30 minutes before dinner is to start. We get everyone lined up for the photo, take the photo and then dinner can start. Everyone that is ordering a photo writes out their name and address on a large envelope, pays $20, and the photos are mailed to them. A photo is provided for the newspaper.
