Having your senior portraits created is a very personal experience. Good portraits are much more than just photographs. They capture more than what you look like on the outside?hey reflect your inner feelings and personality. That’s what you will get at Photographic Artistry. There are several types of sessions to choose from.

We are now 100% digital. With digital photography, you will see your proofs on our website instead of “paper proofs.” Digital photography makes many special services easier to access and the whole process is now faster.

How things work:

1. How things work: Throughout your photo session, we have the camera plugged into a TV so you can view your images to see how they look. We will edit out any images that you do not like.
2. Within two working days, your images will be on our website. Typically we will use your name (all one word, all lower case), as your password.
3. Go to www.photographicartistry.net and click on the cute bear holding the sign in the sidebar.
4. A new window will come up with a place to type in your password.
5. You can watch the slide show of square images, but to look at your individual images, put in your email address and then click on “View and Select” to see sheets of thumb nail images.
6. To enlarge the thumbnails, just click on them. To enlarge them more, move the slider arrow.
7. Each image has a 4 digit number followed by a dash (-) number. Example “IMG 1234-5″. It is important that you use only the 4 digit number the dash number will cause confusion. Some images will have special artwork or cropping, and will have letters added at the end of the image number. It is important to give us that information. Example IMG1234GB would mean that, that image has special art work called a “Gaussian Blur”. BW would mean Black and White, etc.
8. If you would like to be able to compare two images at a time, you can set the “pop up blocker” part of your computer to do so. In that part of your computer, put in the website www.onlineprintit.com.
9. Then, while looking at one image, click the box to “place” image 1, then go to another image and click. Now click the second box to place image 2. If you have put the website in the popup blocker part of your computer, both images will come up together.
10. Do not try to order online. We want you to come in a place an order or at the very least, call us and order by phone. There are way too many details that can go wrong when you do not talk directly with us.

Seniors, we will need to know what you want for the yearbook. The image needs to be vertical and close to being a headshot.

The Classic Session

This is the session we start with when doing any High School Senior. It takes about an hour to do, it includes 3 changes of clothing, and at least 10 photos will be taken. This session includes both traditional senior portraits, (4) and contemporary portraits. The Standard Session is $55.00.

The Outdoor Session

This session is usually done just outside our studio or just across the street in Hicks Park. We have many wonderful locations for outdoor portraits right around the studio. The outdoor session will take approximately one hour, there will be two clothing changes and at least 5 poses will be taken. Outdoor sessions are done in the morning at 8:30 A.M., or in the afternoon around 4 P.M., when the light is softening. The Outdoor Session is $30.00 + tax.

The White Room

This very contemporary session is usually done with a white background that can be used for full-length portraits. There is also a window seat that is very nice. Mostly it is girls who want the White Room Session, which will take approximately one hour with 2 clothing changes and at least 5 poses. The White Room Session is $ 30.00 + tax.

The Beach Session

This session is done at Lake Michigan, usually at Holland State Park. The Holland site is a very safe and family oriented beach. Also, the Holland Lighthouse is one of the most unique in the nation. We leave the studio at 6 P.M. on the scheduled beach dates, and start shooting when the light is soft enough. Evening light is the best for beach pictures.

Regular Specials with Senior Portraits

Two for one Special If 2 seniors students are at the studio at the same time for their photo session, we will only charge for one photo session. Each senior will pay 1/2 price.

Free Family Portrait Session The family of any senior we photograph is eligible for a family session free. Regular price is $20.00 per person, with a maximum of $160.00. This is good for what we call an Extended Family, which can be 3 or 4 generations. See the section on the Family Portrait Session. Everything in the regular session applies to a Family Session with a senior. The free session will apply up till the senior graduates. Note: If a senior session and the free family session are close together in time, you will be able to order from both sessions at the same time and usually save a lot of money.
